Unity Point Pre-K  Offers Two  Screening Options for Families-  On Site Screenings Being Scheduled  on August 14th and 15th.

 Unity Point School's  Family Circle program is offering two screening options for parents  with children ages three to five who live in the district and are interested in their child attending the school's Pre-kindergarten program in the Fall.

Face to Face screenings are scheduled for August 14th and 15th at the school located at 4033 South Illinois Avenue  in Carbondale  Appointments  are required.  To schedule an appointment and request paperwork call 529-4151 ext. 212.

Screenings can be done online  through the  Unity Point Family Circle Page. Parents are also asked to complete a parent questionnaire

Unity Point Pre-K provides high-quality educational programs for children ages 3-5 yrs of age with priority enrollment given to children who are determined to be at risk of academic failure.  It also provides funding for programs serving families of low to moderate income whose children are not considered to be at risk academically, but have limited access to a high quality preschool program.
 
The Unity Point Pre-k program provides two full-day classrooms with a schedule from 8:30-2:30 Monday through Friday .  Two additional half-day classes provide a morning session from 8:30-11:00 Monday through Friday, and an afternoon session from 12:00-2:30, Monday through Friday.  Priority will be given to families requesting a full day based on full time employment or full time enrollment in an approved education/training program and for children entering Kindergarten in the fall.
