Café Sponsors Afterschool Homework Club for Kids

We love sharing great ideas and stories about family friendly businesses.  The 718Brew Café in Metropolis fits both categories.

During the school year, the 718 BrewCafe is sponsoring an Afterschool Homework Club for Kids from 3:00 pm- 6;00 pm at their business on 718 Market Street in Metropolis.
This is a totally free supervised think tank, study place for kids.  Making the Café more open to kids provides them with a safe place to meet, together, do their school work. and maybe get some help from Café staff in the process. Most of the 718BrewCafe staff are in college or graduates.

Free lemonade or tea, healthy snacks as well as help with homework will be offered. Arts and crafts and a basketball hoop on the patio will be available for kids after they finish their homework.   Sounds like a great idea to us !
