Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility (MPE) Program
temporary coverage for outpatient care for pregnant moms.

Moms and Babies
Moms & Babies is a program for pregnant women and their babies. Moms & Babies pays for both outpatient and inpatient hospital services for women while they are pregnant, and for 60 days after the baby is born. It also pays for services to babies for the first year of the baby's life, if the mother is covered by Moms & Babies when the baby is born. There are no co-payments or premiums in Moms & Babies.

The Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) can help families arrange, coordinate, access, and pay for their child's specialized medical treatment when the child has an eligible medical condition.  Serves southern 19 counties.

They provide onetime only assistance to individuals and households who are truly experiencing an emergency situation and who are in need of immediate life necessities, such as shelter, food, etc. We also have limited funds available for emergency home repairs with a maximum grant of $800.00 per family, to help pay for small emergency repairs. Outreach sites for emergency services are available in all four counties

​RENTAL/MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE — Emergency Service Rental/Mortgage Assistance has funding to assist families in Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, and Williamson Counties who are past due on their rent or mortgage payments and are in danger of becoming homeless or are homeless due to a recent financial crisis affecting their ability to pay housing costs.
