Massac Unit One Pre-K and Head Start Child Find Screenings are March 14-15

Child Find Screenings are for children who will be three  years old on or before September 1, 2018.
Due to a recent grant awarded to Massac Unit One, an abbreviated Pre-K session will be offered March 19 through May 25.
Classes will be held Monday through Friday. Students will attend all day. Priority enrollment will be given to students eligible to begin kindergarten in August, 2018. Your child must be screened to enroll in Pre-K. Parents need to call to schedule an appointment time.

Students will have the option to attend Metropolis or Brookport sites, which both offer both pre-kindergarten and Head Start services for children, ages 3-5.

Screening will be held at Brookport Elementary School
319 Ferry St., Brookport
Thursday, March 15, 2018
8 – 10 a.m. or Noon – 2 p.m.

• A parent or guardian must accompany each child.
• Bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate, current immunization record, and proof of residence.
• Areas that will be screened: concepts, motor skills, and speech/language skills.
