Regional CCR&R agencies maintain a comprehensive database of early childhood education and care providers in their designated region. Trained Child Care Counselors can do a search specific to a family's needs. More than names and phone numbers, CCR&R staff can provide families with information about rates, teacher qualifications, and participation in the state's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
In addition to providing early care and education resources, CCR&Rs administers the Illinois Department of Human Service's (IDHS) Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to families. This program provides low-income, working families with access to quality, affordable child care.

Information to the public on the past history and record, including substantiated violations, of licensed day care homes, day care centers and group day care homes. This number operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
