Community Thanksgiving dinner will be served on Thursday, November 24 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Civic Center in Christopher, IL. There will be indoor dining according to CDC rules. Volunteers will be needed for serving and cleaning up. Indoor and carry-outs must have a reservation to eat. There is no cost to the public but please call the Mayor's office (618) 724-7648 to make reservations which will help give us an idea of how many to expect. Donations of desserts are ALWAYS welcome.

A hot meal of turkey and traditional holiday side dishes and desserts will be served from noon until 2 p.m. The Newman Center is located at 715 S Washington Street, between the SIU Rec Center and the train tracks.
This event is free and all are invited to enjoy food and fellowship, without the need to reserve. Meals can be delivered to those who are unable to attend. Delivery requests will be taken until November 21 at 4 p.m. To volunteer, make a donation, or have a meal delivered, you can call 618-529-3311.

If you would like to help make this annual dinner a success, please sign up in the atrium starting next weekend – it takes many hands to serve our guests!
