Enjoy our holiday gift to the community: a stoll through candyland that ends at Santa's cabin! All children age 12 and under will receive a small, free gift from the big man himself. You are welcome to take photos. People-friendly pets are welcome on Sundays.

Breakfast with Santa is a wonderful opportunity for our families during the holiday season. Attendees have the opportunity to eat breakfast, visit Santa's Workshop to purchase inexpensive gifts for family and friends, visit Santa, and pick up a gift bag donated by SIU Family Medicine.

You can find us in the parking lot adjacent to 107 E. Union between Crown Brew Coffee Co. and Union Street Arts in downtown Marion.
Community of Faith Church invites you and your family to experience The Christ Event. Our outdoor live nativity tour retells the story of Christ’s Birth through dramatization, live music performances, and incredible pageantry set against six panoramic scenes with live animals.
• The Christ Event is a free & fun event for you, the family, or your large group.
• Tours begin every 15 minutes.
• Walk-ups are welcome or You can also pre-schedule a tour online by following our “reserve a spot” link at www.thechristevent.com.
• If you have a large group of 25 or more and would like to reserve a special tour slot in advance, you can call us at 618-997-2940.
• Don’t forget to dress appropriately for the season, as The Christ Event is an outdoor walking tour, led by our shepherd guides, that lasts about 30 minutes.
• We do have special assistance carts to help those who are unable to walk enjoy the experience.
Come to The Christ Event registration tent, a part of The City of Marion’s Downtown Very Merry Marion, on Saturday, December 18 or Sunday, December 19 from 5:30-9:00pm and register for the next tour. All donations support the work of the Hands of Hope Foundation in offering hope in Christ around the world.

Come out to the Pavilion on December 5th and December 19th from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm for your chance to tell Santa what you want for Christmas and get pictures with the Jolly Old Elf!
Listen to local choirs and hear holiday stories on the radio as you wait in your car.
All children will receive a fun to-go craft while supplies last.
*This event is free and open to the public.

Come hang out and get into the Christmas spirit by enjoying a movie downstairs with us! The all-ages movie we will be watching is Home Alone (rated PG & 103 minutes). Here is a brief description of the movie: An eight-year-old troublemaker must protect his house from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation. Popcorn and drinks will be available.

St . Francis Xavier Church, at 303 S. Poplar Street, will host its annual free Community Christmas Dinner from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 25. Due to COVID-19 means will be offered as take out or delivery. Those in cars may pick up meals in the church parking lot on West Walnut, while those on foot may get them at the West Elm Street lower level entrance.
