Norris City Illinois Pack U- Back to School The Roads Church 583 US-45, Norris City, IL, It's that time of year again for The Roads Church Pack-U-Back 2-School event for school-aged children needing help with school supplies. This year we will once again provide free hair cuts, and new this year - free dental exams for K, 2nd, 6th and 9th grade students. And what would a P.U.B. be without a dunk tank & inflatable - thanks to the generosity of our Norris City Chamber of Commerce! We hope to see you on Saturday, July 20th from 10 a.m to Noon. Children must be present to receive school supplies. We're excited to announce our annual Back to School Resource Fair for all Sesser-Valier Students. We will be onsite during the returning student registration with school supplies that are absolutely FREE to all SV Students! Dental Safari and Deaconess will be onsite offering FREE dental exams and physicals for all students who need them! Be sure to keep an eye on our page the next couple weeks as we recognize all of the awesome people who are helping to make this event happen! July 25 Carbondale Cedar Court Clinic July 27th Marion Annual Back to School Expo The Pavilliion in Marion Backpacks, School supplies. 9am- 2pm 7th Annual SOUTHERN ILLINOIS BACK TO SCHOOL EXPO The Expo is on July 27 from 9am-2pm at The Pavilion in Marion Illinois Visit: https://www.sischoolexpo.com/registration to get your tickets and register for medical appointments FREE school physicals, school supplies, haircuts, dental, vision, backpacks, immunizations and vaccinations, clothing, train rides, snow cones, food trucks, lazer tag, and more! First come, first serve food vouchers will be provided for our food trucks to eat for free! First come, first serve clothing vouchers will be provided to kids to shop for free at our clothing consignment Dental Safari will be providing dental exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments and sealants as needed for children birth to 19 years of age. Marion Back to School Bash 5pm- 8pm John Jones Park Free food, bounce houses, school supplies Child must be present Pittsburg Whiteash Frewell Baptist Church 13339 N Rt 37, Marion, Illinois 10am- 11:30 am Come join us on Saturday, July 27th from 10:00-11:30 for our back to school back pack & school supply giveaway! Eligible for grades K-12 while supplies last. Children must be present to receive a backpack. This will be a drive-through event in our parking lot. August 8th Metropolis Metropolis Community Center 5pm- 8pm Sponsored by Harrahs The team members of Harrah's Metropolis, along with other local businesses and organizations are teaming up once again to distribute school supplies gathered through fundraising and donations. Dental Safari Company will be on-site offering Dental Exams, fluoride treatments, and sealants as needed. Any child is eligible, and it is at no cost to the family. Massac Memorial Hospital Mobile Unit will be on hand beginning at 4PM offering physical exams and various other assessments. Massac County Drug Awareness Coalition will be handing out drug awareness buttons among other supplies. August 10TH Carbondale Back to School Bash and Craft Fair Lexy's Art Roon 838 E Main, Carbondale 11am - 4pm Lexy’s Art Room will finally have a storefront/event space! I will be hosting a few events, a Grand Opening Craft Fair and a Back to School Bash to celebrate the good news and bring in the new school year! We are inviting you to come celebrate with us! These events are open to all ages. We will have vendors, food trucks, music, face painting for the kiddos and art activities.
