Union County Colorfest
Celebrate the fall season throughout Union County by attending a variety of events and activities throughout one of Illinois’ most scenic regions. Join the P.A.S.T. Historic Walking Tour from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm by purchasing a $5 self-guided tour booklet at Stinson Library Flea Market in Anna. Participate in the biathlon race, tour the Shawnee Hills wine trail, and visit the area’s orchards. Kid Fest will be held at Anna’s city park from 9 to 5 on Saturday and features the Annual Wiener Dog Derby. Activities at Stinson Library include a flea market, a book sale, crafts, jewelry, food and music, and the South End Stump Jumper annual variety show Saturday at 7 pm. At the Anna Arts Center local artists provide hands-on workshops in painting, drawing, weaving, 3-D design, mosaic, and jewelry making & evening Stage performances feature local story tellers, poets, musicians, and comedians.

Camp Ondessonk opens its gates to the Southern Illinois community for a free afternoon fall festival each year to get to know our neighbors and area families who enjoy spending time together in the great outdoors. Fall in Southern Illinois provides fantastic weather for afternoon outings. Camp Ondessonk will be providing free pony rides, climbing wall, hay rides, face painting, and hot apple cider around the bonfire. This event is open to the public, and all programming is completely free!
